Crazy For The Earth: An Earth Day Scuba Cleanup Event

Join West Shore Scuba for our annual Earth Day Cleanup event! This year, we’ll be at Beltzville Lake (2950 Pohopoco Drive, Lehighton, PA 18235) keeping things beautiful above and below water! Diving is not typically permitted at Beltzville Lake, as there is normally heavy boat usage and a main intake by the dam that could pull a diver in. Special permission has been obtained for West Shore Scuba divers to dive the beach area of Beltzville Lake in this one-day-only event. If you’re looking to do something different while doing your part to keep things beautiful, this event is for you! Registration is not required – just meet us at Beltzville Lake at 10am on 4/22/2021, ready to dive or provide surface support. This event is sponsored by the US Army Corps of Engineers, in conjunction with the Great American Cleanup and Project AWARE.
